Sounds like good steps. I just signed up on the wiki and figured I'd let you know that once this does launch, I intend to develop a plugin for the Nucleus CMS that will allow weblog authors to easily create and manage an XID card on their own site.

Nucleus is pretty popular - not as much as Wordpress of course - but it has quite an extensible plugin architecture and I think this will help with adoption if bloggers can just go through their blog admin interface to maintain their networks, and maybe even add the option to place a "my XID card" badge on their blog (that's something else to consider; various size icons/badges for people to link to their cards with. I'm a fan of the 80x15 ones, myself).

I'll probably start work on that soon, before the launch, but don't plan to put it on the wiki just yet (unless you think it's a good idea to let people know it's in the works)
